Clarity

I believe clarity makes space for creativity. I define strategy and product vision, surface the right problems, and guide teams to move forward with confidence—even when things are messy.

Care

Design is personal. I lead by paying close attention to people’s strengths, how they grow, and how we work together. I care about creating a team culture where people feel supported and the work feels meaningful.

Connection

Great design teams don't work in isolation. I build strong relationships across product, engineering, analytics, research, and beyond—helping design align with business goals while advocating for craft and user needs.

As a former Co-President of the AIGA Raleigh chapter, I helped advance our mission—to create a place where design thrives for everyone. I ran community meetings, free and open to the public, where we tackled issues in our city together through design.

Mentorship

Throughout my career, I coach and mentor designers to connect their skills, interests, and aspirations. I also provide and foster opportunities for regular, actionable feedback for growth in areas of UX design, visual design, research, and strategy.

Hopscotch Design Festival

Events

I was a part of a talented team that created Hopscotch Design Festival, a sister festival to Hopscotch Music. A two-day gathering of designers, thinkers, and storytellers shaping what’s next, Hopscotch ignited the city with creative energy and made Raleigh a design destination.
